A lockdown story by Grandma Picton

The Strawberry with a Crown

This story was written by a Grandma during her isolation in the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. During this time she desperately missed the closeness of her beloved grandchildren, with all their laughter, play and cuddles.

Her beautiful garden was her happy place, and one day it gifted her the 'Strawberry with a Crown', from which this sweet and magical children's story was born.

A taste of the story

Grandma in the garden picking
strawberries feeling bad
No grandchildren to help
so very, very sad.

A nasty virus has come our way
so, in our houses we must stay.

Then read on in Strawberry Princess, the story continues.
