Grandma Picton's Stories is a small family website run by Ian Crocker for the Picton family. If you have any question about your information, email ian@plaskettnutritioncollege.com.

Visiting the website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. The pictures and fonts all come from this website itself, so your browser doesn't contact anyone else while you read it.

Like every website, our web server keeps a short technical log of requests (your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser type). We use it only to keep the site secure and working, and it is deleted automatically after a short period.

Buying a book

When you choose to buy a book you go to a secure checkout run by Stripe. Stripe takes your payment; we never see or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

Stripe passes us your name, email address and postal address so that we can post your book and contact you about your order. We keep these order records for as long as UK law requires for accounts (normally six years), and we don't use them for anything else. We never sell or share your details, and we don't send marketing emails.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it (unless we must keep it for our accounts). Just email us at the address above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
